Tehran, Jul 18 (UNI) Iran today said it had suspended its commitments under an interim peace agreement with the US, accusing Washington of violating the terms of the deal as the two countries continued exchanging strikes on military and infrastructure targets.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi told Iranian state television that the United States had breached its obligations under the agreement, signed about a month ago, and that Tehran was therefore "no longer implementing" its commitments.
The announcement came despite President Donald Trump declaring last week that the agreement was effectively dead.
