IPL: SRH beat RCB by five runs

Hyderabad, May 7 (UNI) Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were able to consolidate its position at the top by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 5 runs in the 39th match of the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium here on Monday night.

RCB, which won the toss and opted to bowl first, scored 141 for 6 wickets in 20 hours and failed to make up to play-offs.

With just six points remain in its kitty out of 10 games played by RCB and four more games to play.

However, SRH which scored 146 runs for 10 wickets, sits comfortably at the top of the VIVO points table,

Man of the match declared to Kane Williamson for his excellent captancy and half century made in the match.
