Abu Dhabi, Oct 24 (UNI) Varun 5/20, half centuries from Nitish Rana 81 off 53 and Sunil Narine 64 off 32 balls helped KKR beat DC by 59 runs in the 42th match of the IPL 2020, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, here on Saturday.
KKR posted 194/6 in 20 overs while DC managed to add 135/9.
From 3 down at 42, Narine and Rana smashed DC bowlers for fours and sixes building 115 runs stand for the fourth wicket taking KKR to a challenging 194, but it was brilliant bowling spell by Varun 5/20 that took KKR towards victory.
From 11 matches this is DCs 4th loss while their wait for the play-offs stays extended while for KKR this is their 6th win from 11 matches they stand at 4th spot in the IPL table however, today's win was important for KKR now as they will have win two more matches from three to qualify for play-offs
while DC are one win away from play-offs.
