IPL 2020: Rana, Narine half centuries take KKR to 194/6

Abu Dhabi, Oct 24 (UNI) Half centuries from Nitish Rana 81 off 53 and Sunil Narine 64 off 32 balls helped KKR post a challenging 194/6 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals in the 42th match of the IPL 2020, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, here on Saturday.
From 3 down at 42, Narine and Rana smashed DC bowlers for fours and sixes building 115 runs stand for the fourth wicket taking KKR to a challenging 194.
Earlier, DC won the toss and elected to field against KKR.
KKR opener Shubman Gill went early in second over after being caught at backward point by Patel in Nortje's spell at 9.
Rana and Gill had contributed 11 run stand for first wicket. After Gill's departure Tripathi and Rana took the score to 24 runs for second wicket, but Tripathi became second victim of Nortje in 6th over at 13 off 12 balls (1 four).
Karthik had just 3 off 6 balls when Rabada picked his wicket in 8th over. KKR were 3 down at 42.
After Karthik, Narine and Rana batted smartly hitting DC bowlers for fours and sixes putting up a crucial 115 runs for fourh wicket.
But Rabada picked his second wicket sending Narine to the pavillion in 17th over. Narine's innings 64 off 32 balls (6 fours, 4 sixes).
It was Stoinis who picked two wickets of Rana and skipper Morgan in the last over. Rana 81 off 53 (13 fours, 1 six), Morgan 17 off 9 balls (2 fours, 1 six).
Pat Cummins remained not out at 0.
For DC wicket-takers were Nortje 2/27, Rabada 2/33, Stoinis 2/41.
