IP strategy important for Start-up entrepreneurs: Abhijeet Pai

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Mr Abhijeet Pai, Convenor, CII Telangana Panel on Entrepreneurship and President, Puzzolona Group, opined that formulating an intellectual property strategy was very important for the Start up entrepreneurs.
" In fact, IP has been identified as key ingredien especially for start ups across the world to get a competitive advantage in the market", he said.
Speaking at a session Road to Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) on "Fundamentals of Intellectual Property and Related Transactions for Start-Ups and Entrepreneurs “, organized by CII, in partnership with Global Intellectual Property Academy at T-Hub on Friday, Mr Pai said also said "In order to keep the sustainable flow of Venture Capital and Private Equity going, it is very important for Start-Ups to keep innovating as well as creating a unique brand value".
Ms Shilpi Jha, Senior Counsel – IP, South Asia, USPTO, Embassy of the United States of America, New Delhi, briefed about the importance of understanding the fundamentals of Intellectual property for the Start-ups as well as Entrepreneurs. “Hyderabad is a great hub for growth and sustainable development of entrepreneurship”, she said.
Mr Srinivas Kollipara, Founder & COO, T-Hub, in his address, opined that the entrepreneurs put lot of efforts in converting their ideas into reality. “Whatever you do, you must protect it and for this please do your research upfront” he said.
The Session had various discussions on fundamentals, journey for start-ups, and transactions.
