IP Facilitation Cell in Hyderabad doing commendable job, facilitates 203 IPRs : Bondanapu

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (UNI) Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana Chairman Krishna Bodanapu informed that the IP Facilitation Cell is doing a commendable job and has facilitated 203 IPRs – 9 Patents, 105 Trademarks, 54 Designs and 34 Copyrights and 1 Geographical Indications in 2020.
During the same period, 98 IPRs were registered/granted, a release here said on Wednesday.
Telangana State Office in partnership with the state government has started an IP Facilitation Cell here.
The Cell will provide IP Facilitation Services to entrepreneurs & Innovators.
The Cell provides a platform for inventors, MSMEs, academia and startups to facilitate filing of IPR applications till its registration.
The Cell also offers assistance on IP management, IP Audit and IP Policy along with protection of traditional products through Geographical Indication.
The startups and entrepreneurs along with the entire ecosystem will benefit from IP cell through its empaneled IPR Attorney and in-house IP experts.
IPR Counselling and guidance will be given to all inventors and startups on IP awareness and IP filings.
Mr Subhajit Saha, Director CII has urged Industry and Academia to come forward and avail the unique services of the IP facilitation cell to increase IP filings in the state.

PHD Chamber identifies 10 key enablers for India to become Viksit Bharat by 2047

New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) Industry body PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has identified 10 key enablers including ease of doing business, reducing cost of doing business such as cost of capital, power, logistics, land among others, that would lead the Indian economy to “Viksit Bharat by 2047”
Releasing a blueprint for “Viksit Bharat by 2047”, the PHDCCI said the Indian economy is displaying robust growth post Covid pandemic despite continued global headwinds. India’s economy will become USD 34.7 trillion by 2047 with per capita income of USD 21000.
