Mysuru, Sep 22 (UNI) For the first time in the history of Mysuru, an day International Kite Festival will be held in the heritage city after Dasara festivities on October 12 and 13.According to district administration, the kite festival is being held for many years as a special event after Dasara.
The Dasara kite festival which was held so far, was attended by the competitors from other parts of the country. But this time, as many as eight international kite flyers from six countries including Singapore, Austria, China, Malaysia and South Korea will also take part.Around five to six teams from other parts of the state and more then 20 kite flyers from as many as eight states expected to take part in the kite festival, along with huge crowd here at Lalitha Mahal Helipad.
