INPT comes closer to Tripura royal scion

Agartala, Sept 26 (UNI) While calling upon tribal parties to unite against ruling BJP-IPFT coalition ahead of election of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC), tribal based opposition Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) has indicated to strike a deal with the civil society organisation TIPRA run by royal scion Pradyot Kishore Debbarman.
After getting disassociated from Congress, Pradyot has launched TIPA aiming to work for socio-economic development of indigenous people of the state. TIPRA has forged alliances with some other regional parties and now alliance with INPT is on the move.
INPT general secretary Jagadish Debbarma said that they will finalize the alliance with TIPA in the first week of October. He also pointed out that INPT has been in touch with several other parties and organizations to strengthen the fight against BJP-IPFT combine in ADC.
