Innovation, skill and imagination are keys to India’s growth: Dr Krishna Ella at UoH Convocation

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) Dr Krishna Ella, Founder and Executive Chairman of Bharat Biotech International Limited, called upon students to focus on innovation, skill, and imagination to drive India’s progress.
Delivering the chief guest address at the 25th Convocation of the University of Hyderabad (UoH), held at the Global Peace Auditorium, Brahma Kumaris, Gachibowli, on Tuesday, Dr Ella — who received his degree more than four decades ago — reflected on how education and opportunities have evolved over time.
“A university degree gives knowledge, but two other components — skill and imagination — must be added to make innovation meaningful,” he said. Citing his own journey in molecular biology that led to vaccine development, he stressed the importance of practical skills in entrepreneurship.

Ex-CM slams Chandrababu Naidu for 'brazen credit-chori'

Vijayawada, Nov 13 (UNI) YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has denounced what he termed as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s "brazen credit-chor” scheme, with the present government "shamelessly" claiming credit for housing works that were initiated, sanctioned and largely executed when he was the Chief Minister.

The former Chief Minister claimed that in the 18 months of Chandrababu Naidu’s administration, the Government had not acquired a single square yard for the poor.
