Inline World Skating Championship: 5 Skaters from Vizag to take part

Visakhapatnam, Sept 24 (UNI) Five Skaters from this port city in Andhra Pradesh will participate in the three-day 1st Inline World Figure Skating Championship to be held at Leganes Spain from September 27.

The skaters--- Priyam Tated, Riya Saboo and Vaishnav Vemam are Asian Medal Winners while Swetha Suresh and Tejesh Padiga will be participating in the first International Championship, Visakhapatnam District Roller Skating Association Secretary S. Atchuta Rama Reddy said in a release here on Tuesday.

In a statement, Indian Team coach P. Satyanarayan said that they have bright chances to make it to the podium for couple of skaters and create history.

AP Roller Staking Association President N Raghupati Raju and General Secretary Bhagirath conveyed their best wishes for their success in the World Championship.
