Infiltration bid foiled, 5 militants killed at LoC in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 15 (UNI) Five heavily armed militants were killed when alert troops foiled yet another infiltration bid from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Uri sector in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
With this, a total of 12 infiltrators were killed and another arrested since July 26 on LoC in north Kashmir. Two security personnel also lost their lives.
Sources said security forces guarding LoC noticed a group of militants sneaking into this side from PoK under the cover of darkness.
