States » North » DIEPosted at: May 21 2019 12:20AM Indore homicide makes MP’s political temp riseBhopal, May 20 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee alleged on Monday that the “issueless” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was playing politics by lending colour to the homicide perpetrated on Sunday in the state’s commercial capital Indore. “Erstwhile chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that Nemichand Tanwar was eliminated as he exercised his franchise in BJP favour. The accusation amounts to insulting democracy and breaks the secrecy of ballot. He avers that the accused is associated with the Congress though photographs narrate a different story. Mr Chouhan’s charges are baseless and designed to tarnish the Congress’ image. The murder had nothing to do with politics, the motive was festering enmity. The Congress shall contemplate legal action against Mr Chouhan for levelling allegations without evidence,” Media Coordinator Narendra Saluja said in a release.
