Indonesia to move capital city out of Jakarta

Jakarta, Apr 30 (UNI) The Indonesian government has decided to shift its capital to a new place, as the present capital Jakarta grapples with pollution and traffic snarls.
Jakarta is also said to be sinking by an average of 1-15 cm a year and almost half of the city now sits below the sea level. If this goes unchecked, researchers say, parts of the mega city could be submerged by 2050.
