Jakarta, Jan 26 (UNI) India's star shuttler Saina Nehwal defeated her compatriot P V Sindhu in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Masters here on Friday.
Saina thrashed her fellow countrywoman Sindhu in straight sets 21-13, 21-19 to enter the semi-final of the Indonesia Masters.
Saina and Sindhu have clashed twice in the international circuit so far with both winning once.
Earlier, on Thursday, unseeded Saina, who slipped to world No 12 from 10 defeated world No 20 Chen Xiaoxin 21-12, 21-18 in 37 minutes.
Saina will face Thailand's fourth seeded Ratchanok Intanon in the semi-finals on Saturday.
