Indo-Pak buses diverted on link roads due to shobha yatras in Phagwara

Phagwara, Feb 18 (UNI) The Indo-Pak buses plying between New Delhi and Lahore were diverted on link roads due to Shobha Yatras organised in connection with Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti here on Monday.
Confirming it here, Phagwara ASP Sandeep Malik told UNI that New Delhi bound bus was diverted from Mehtan Chowk Phagwara towards Mehli, Banga, Nawanshahr, Rahon, Phillaur and Ludhiana onwards and Lahore bound bus was also diverted from Ludhiana, Phillaur, Noormahal, Zandiala and Jalandhar onwards as precautionary step.
Mr Malik said 580 jawans including 300 of Commando Force,100 from District Head Quarter Kapurthala,4 Companies of Reserve batalions and 100 Jawans of local police were deployed at all sensitive places to prevent any untoward incident.
