IndiGo plane hits bird, makes emergency landing at Patna Airport

Patna, July 9 (UNI) An IndiGo Airlines flight (6E 5009) from Patna to Delhi, made an emergency landing today at Patna Airport when a bird hit the aircraft shortly after takeoff.
Director of Patna Airport K.M. Mehra confirmed the incident, saying that soon after Flight 6E 5009 took off from Patna Airport around 8:45 AM, the pilot noticed vibrations in the aircraft and requested landing, following which an emergency landing was made.
Mehra confirmed that all 175 passengers on board were safe.
The aircraft was being examined for any technical glitch it might have developed due to the hit.
