New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI) Consolidating its position in the Middle-East market, IndiGo, airline has announced Sharjah as its 6th international and XX overall destination in its schedule. It also introduces new flights to the existing Muscat network. The new schedule sees introduction of new daily non-stop flights on Sharjah-Kozhikode, Muscat-Kozhikode effective March 20th 2017 and Sharjah Thiruvananthapuram effective 08 April, 2017. IndiGo, in its commitment to provide maximum connectivity across the country by catering to various segments, will see both corporate and leisure passengers travelling to and from Sharjah and will now have the opportunity to experience the hassle-free and on-time performance that IndiGo is synonymous with. These new flights will further consolidate IndiGo’s position as the fastest growing airline in India. With 126 Airbus A320 aircraft - 6E will operate 857 daily flights, connecting 43 destinations wef March 2017. Speaking on the addition of the new destination, Mr. Aditya Ghosh, President and Whole Time Director, IndiGo said, “We are extremely pleased to expand our international network with Sharjah and an additional connection between Muscat and Kozhikode.
