Indians brought from Wuhan to ITBP quarantine, starts dispersing from Monday evening

New Delhi, Feb 17 (UNI) Out of 406 people housed at Indo - Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) makeshift quarantine facility at Chhawla camp at New Delhi, around 200 people on Monday started dispersing to their destination after their final test report for Corona Virus test found negative.
Among them were a number of students, professors, Yoga teachers and businessmen.
Among 200 people, seven Maldivians are likely to leave for their destination on Monday late evening, the Force officials said here.
One of the youngest among the lot is two-year-old Inaya Bhandari, who was bundled up and brought back to India by her parents on the first rescue flight on February 1. Inaya's parents Dhirendra and Nutan Bhandari are both yoga teachers in Wuhan in China.
It is also expected that all the inmates may be released by Tuesday evening, they added.

On Monday afternoon, the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Harshvardhan visited the ITBP facility and met the inmates, team of ITBP doctors and staff taking care of the group.
Talking to media, Dr Harshvardhan said "We are sending additional flights to Wuhan to get more Indians after the current residents vacate. We are trying to reach out to as many people as possible. We are ensuring that there is no spread of the virus. There are only three cases of coronavirus in India, all in Kerala".
All inmates have expressed their gratitude to the ITBP for taking their best care for long 18 days.
The Force has given a rose and an official calendar to all inmates to mark their memory and time spent in the quarantine center. Each of them were given the transport facility till the drop points as per their requirements, the ITBP said.
A total of 406 people were airlifted by the Indian authorities from the epidemic epicenter Wuhan in China on February 1 and 2. They had been kept in makeshift quarantine facility created by ITBP and they were provided with all necessary amenities such as food, lodging, indoor games and internet Wi-Fi for 18 days.

All inmates had gone to three round of corona virus tests and the last sample were collected after 14 days of isolation and were found negative.
