Indian student shot dead in Chicago, Indian consulate demands action against culprits

Chicago/New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) A 27-year-old Indian student from Khammam, Telangana, was shot dead at a petrol station in Chicago early on Saturday. The Indian Consulate has expressed shock at the murder of Indian student Nukarapu Sai Teja and demanded immediate action against the culprits.
In a post on X, the Indian consulate said they will extend every help to the family and friends of the victim.
“We are shocked and deeply sad at the murder of Indian Student Nukarapu Sai Teja. We demand immediate action against the culprits. Consulate will extend all possible help to the family and friends of the victim.”

India thanked Saudi Arabia for its support and assistance in the matter.
