Indian Railway launches two helpline numbers

New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) In a effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Indian Railway has introduced two 24X7 Helpline numbers – 138 and 139 -to answer inquiries, provide assistance and to disseminate relevant information to its customers and others during the 21-day all-India lockdown.
The Helpline numbers will also be accepting suggestions from the passengers as well.
Viewing the wide range of passengers, the idea of using the number 138 is to use, in addition to the call-centre based and IVRS services provided through 139 has been implemented.
