Indian Panorama 2017 from Sep 8

Puducherry, Sep 6 (UNI) Department of Information and Publicity, Government of Puducherry in coordination with the Navadarshan Film Society and Alliance Francoise would conduct the five-day Indian Panorama, 2017 here from September 8.
An official release said today, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy would inaugurate the fest at Alliance Francoise at 1800 hrs on that day.
Mr.
Narayanasamy will also present the Sankaradass Swamigal Award to Ms Sudha Kongara, Director of the Tamil Film "Irudhi Suttru" for the Best Film for 2016.
The award consists of Rs.
One lakh in cash and a citation.
Films such as “Iruthi Suttru”(Tamil), 'Chitrokar' (Bengali), 'Kaadu Pookkunna Neram' (Malayalam), 'Air Lift' (Hindi) and “U Turn”(Kannada ) would be screened in the film festival for which the entry is free.
