Indian national killed in mass shooting outside Shiite mosque in Muscat

Muscat/New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) An Indian national was killed and another injured in a mass shooting incident near a Shiite mosque in the Oman capital, Muscat, on Monday evening that left six people dead and 28 others wounded.
The Indian Embassy in a post on X said:
“Following the shooting incident reported in Muscat city on 15 July, Foreign Ministry of Sultanate of Oman has informed that one Indian national has lost his life and another is injured.
