New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) After reports surfaced of the possibility of involvement of Pakistani players in the upcoming fifth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel today said it will depend on the Indian government whether to issue them visas or not. Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines after receiving a High Level Committee's report on Scouts and Guides, Goel said,"The organisers can select and auction players from Pakistan but it is the Indian government who will take a call on the issuance of visas to them." "The way Pakistan is nursing terrorism and promoting cross-border terrorism, there is no question of any sporting ties," he added. Notably, around 10 players from the neighbouring country will be going under hammer for the fifth season of the cash-rich league, beginning June 25. However, relations between the two nations have hit an all time low after regular ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army and later a Pakistan military court awarding death sentence to a Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav.
