Indian embassy in US mourns loss of eight lives in Indianapolis shooting

Washington, Apr 17(UNI) The Indian Embassy in the United States has condoled the death of eight people, including four Sikhs, in a mass shooting incident at FedEx facility in Indianapolis.
'We convey our heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the shocking shooting incident at FedEx facility in Indianapolis and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured', Embassy of India Washington DC said in a statement on Friday night.
The Indianapolis police have identified the victims of the shooting incident late Friday evening, which include persons from Indian American Sikh community.
