The film was screened in 20th International Children's Film Festival of India (ICFFI) at the Prasads IMAX here on Saturday. Iranian film 'Houra' focused on the acute drinking water crisis in that country and Gholamreza Sagharchiyan wants to tell the whole world the severity of the problem. Gholamreza said on the sidelines of the ICFFI that he produced the film spending from his earnings with USD 100,1000. "My only intention is that I want to tell the entire world that my country, Iran, is reeling under acute water crisis," he explained. Stating that the whole film was shot in a desert, he said, that the story revolves around a family of four living in this desert but is not allowed to move to the nearby areas. The problems that the family faces even to have drinking water are pictured well, he said and felt that India does not have this problem but people living in remote areas should be allowed to move to the nearby towns to overcome their difficulties, at least partially. Gholamreza said that he has already screened his film in several children's film festivals in various countries and will be moving to China from Hyderabad to screen it there. "I want to get the whole world's attention to the acute drinking water crisis in Iran," he stated. He said his next project too is on children and if possible, again focus on the water issue. The Houra Director said he love the film Sholay and Bahubali very much. He expressed his happiness over the selection and screening of his film in this festival.UNI VV CS 1900Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Indian culture & tradition is similar to us : Gholamreza Sagharchiyan
