Indian challenge in FISU World University Badminton ends

Chandigarh, Oct 20 (UNI) Indian challenge ended in the 2018 FISU World University Badminton Championship (Individual) at Majlis Sukan Universiti in Malaysia on Saturday.
The best match for Indians in the women's singles quarter-final was contested between fourth seed Hung Yi-Ting and fifth seed Reshma Karthik of India. Reshma Karthik started promisingly by winning the first game at 21-17.
However, Hung Yi-Ting bounced back into the game and won the next two games to clinch a semi-final berth. Hung won by 17-21 21-8 21-7 in 32 minutes.
