Indian Army is laced with modern gadgets, need not to worry: Lt Gen Ranbir Singh

Jammu, May 20 (UNI) Asserting that Indian Army is fully equipped, prepared and have the resolve whenever the situation arises, Northern Command Army Commander, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh on Monday said that the force is laced with modern gadgets and there is nothing to worry.
“We don’t want to get into new generation weapons brought on the Line of Control by the Indian Army but I want to ensure that we are fully prepared, equipped and have the required resolve and whenever the situation arises, the India army is not found wanting and we shall be achieving military objectives that are set for us,” Gen Singh here told reporters at a press conference after a function organized for educational scholarship distribution to the selected youth of the state.
However, on 2016 Surgical Strike, the Army Commander said, “the DGMO in RTI reply has already replied that surgical strike was launched in September 2016 and it was the first surgical strike. What political set ups are saying, I do not want to get into it.”
