Birmingham, Jul 2 (UNI) Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat against Bangladesh in a World Cup match here at Edgbaston on Tuesday.
India made two changes in their team for this match with Bhuvi and Dinesh Karthik replacing Kuldeep and Kedar respectively.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh also made made two changes in their team as Rubel and Sabbir Rahman came in place of Mirz and Mahmudullah respectively.
India will look to bounce back after a 31-run defeat against hosts England on Sunday. India have 11 points from seven matches and are one win away from a semifinal spot.
On the other hand, this is a must-win encounter for Bangladesh, in their quest to reach the World Cup semifinal for the first time. They will have to win both their last matches to have any chance of making the cut for knockouts.
