India will remain grateful: PM Modi mourns musician Khayyam's death

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condoled the death of legendary music composer Khayyam.
In his condolence message, the PM said India will remain grateful to Khayyam for giving some of the most memorable compositions.
''India will remain grateful to Khayyam Sahab for giving us some of the most memorable compositions, which will be remembered forever. He will also be remembered for his humanitarian gestures to support upcoming artists. His demise is extremely saddening,''the PM said.

India expects to have jurisdiction on PoK one day: Jaishankar

New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) Days after Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have maintained that India has the right to take a pro-active stance on Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (PoK), External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on Tuesday said that that the region definitely is "part of India" and New Delhi expects to have 'jurisdiction' on it.
