New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) A day after the Supreme Court dismissed a series of petitions
seeking a fair probe into the death of Judge Loya, Congress president Rahul Gandhi
on Friday said India will not allow Judge Loya to be forgotten.
In a post on social media, Rahul said that people of the country can see through the truth.
'There is no hope left, everything is managed” say Judge Loya’s family. I want to tell them,
there is hope. There is hope because millions of Indians can see the truth. India will not allow Judge Loya to be forgotten,' Rahul said in a tweet.
The tweet came a day after the Supreme Court dismissed a series of petitions seeking
a fair probe into the death of Judge Loya, who was heading the bench hearing the Sohrabuddin
encounter case, in which BJP president Amit Shah was one of the accused.
The tweet came on a day when the Congress joined six other opposition parties to
give a notice to Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu for the impeachment of
Chief Justice of India Dipak Mishra on grounds of misbehaviour.
