Napier, Jan 23 (UNI) India skipper Virat Kohli will be given a rest for the final two ODIs and the T20I series against New Zealand. Rohit Sharma will lead the team in his absence.
BCCI said in a statement on Wednesday that considering his workload in the last few months, the team management and Senior selection committee have decided to give him adequate rest ahead of the home series against Australia.
Sharma also led India to the Asia Cup title late last year.
