Doha, Dec 9 (UNI) India is looking forward to expand investment opportunities and economic cooperation in other areas with Qatar, Indian Ambassador P Kumaran said on Monday.
The envoy in a statement to Qatar News Agency stressed the importance of energy partnership between the two countries on a day Qatargas announced a milestone as it successfully delivered the 2,000th liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to India. The cargo was loaded at Ras Laffan on November 17 and delivered to India’s Dahej LNG Terminal.
Kumaran.Kumaran said bilateral trade and economic relations between India and Qatar are expected to see major growth in the coming years as both the countries are working to further expand and deepen the level of cooperation in several areas.
