New Delhi, Jan. 22 (UNI) India has not received any request for the supply of Indian made Covid-19 vaccines from Pakistan either on a government to government basis or commercial basis.
India, the global hub for vaccine production, has already begun supply of vaccines to the neighbouring countries and Seychelles. On January 21, India supplied 10 lakh doses to Nepal and 20 lakh doses to Bangladesh. ``Today consignments of 15 lakh doses for Myanmar, one lakh doses to Mauritius and 50,000 doses to Seychelles are being airlifted,' Anurag Srivastav, official spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs, said in his weekly media briefing in virtual format.
``There is interest in many countries in accessing vaccines from India which is the global hub for vaccine production.In so far as these requests for vaccines from India, Prime Minister has already stated that India’s vaccine production and delivery capacity would be used for the benefit of all humanity in fighting this crisis,' the spokesperson said.
