New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Amid rising tension between the two countries, India today summoned Pakistani envoy to lodge its strong protest at the recent escalation in the incidents of ceasefire violations by the Pakistan side at the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB), which have resulted into several fatalities and casualties on the Indian side among civilians and security forces personnel. Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan, Syed Haider Shah, was summoned to the External Affairs Ministry to convey the government’s grave concern over the spate of violation at the border and the LoC, an official statement said here.
