New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) India and Singapore are partners in progress and sustainable development,Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said on Thursday.
Stating that India admired Singapore’s emergence as 'a shining example of a harmonious, multicultural and multiracial society', he told Singapore Minister of Trade and Industry S Iswaran, who called on him here that a number of Indian states had developed productive partnership with the island state.
'We believe in cooperative and competitive federalism and states are focussing on socio-economic development in a concerted manner,' he added.
