Davos (Switzerland), Jan 22 (UNI) India's soft power along with showcasing of
economic prowess and investment friendly atmosphere will be making a unique
combo at the 48th Annual Meet of World Economic Forum beginning here on Tuesday.
"We are very proactive today....encouraging business communities from across
to come to India. There is a phenomenal change," India's envoy to Switzerland
Sibi George told Doordarshan News.
Yoga sessions and exquisite Indian cuisine are all set to make a big splash in this Swiss
Alpine city during the annual gathering of the nation heads and business honchos and
others.
Bollywood mega star Shah Rukh Khan, who is here to receive an honour at the
Annual Crystal Awards, tweeted: "Bhai sahib kaafi thand hai (It's quite cold)!!! Hope to
find some love and friendship to keep me warm here".

The WEF has listed Mr Khan as one of the speakers and also described him as
an actor, entrepreneur, philanthropist.
Australian actress Cate Blanchett and musician Elton John - famous for songs like
'Something about the Way You look tonight' - will be also honoured for their respective
work towards improving the state of the world.
More than 3000 CEOs and business heads from leading global companies will be
participating at this year's meeting.
Indian mission in Switzerland has put up Prime Minister Mr Modi's photographs at vantage
points in this Alpine resort.
"People assembling here are looking forward to listening to Prime Minister
and also looking at transformation that has happened in India," India's envoy Mr George
said.
Mr Modi will deliver key note address at the opening session on Tuesday.
