India's core sector grows 12 1 pc YoY in October

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Driven by electricity, coal, cement and steel industries, India's core sector comprising of eight key infrastructure components grew 12.1 per cent year-on-year (YoY) in October 2023, according to official data released on Thursday.

The production of all eight core industries namely cement, coal, crude oil, electricity, fertilizers, natural gas, refinery products and steel recorded positive growth in October 2023 over the corresponding month of last year.
