Port Elizabeth, Feb 14 (UNI) After a thumping 73-run win in the fifth of the six-match rubber against the Proteas, Team India skipper Virat Kohli termed his side's first ever ODI series victory in South Africa as a "collective effort".
The men in blue took a 4-1 lead over South Africa as Rohit Sharma's century followed by four wickets by Kuldeep Yadav set up a comfortable victory for India at the St George's Park here on Tuesday night.
Commenting on the win, Kohli said,"I'm very pleased, it was another complete performance from us. They had the pressure of losing this series and we knew that. It is history and the guys have worked hard for it. Ever since the third Test in Johannesburg, it's been a good time for us."
