India restrict South Africa to 149-5; Kock and Bavuma bat well

Mohali, Sep18 (UNI) In their quest to win the Mohali match in the three-match series, India restricted South Africa to 149 for 5 in the second T-20 fixture at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium, here on Wednesday night.
The first match of the series was abandoned, without a ball being bowled, due to increment weather in Dharamshala (HP). The win in Mohali will place the winners in a position of not losing the series.
SA captain Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma played good knocks. While Kock completed his half century by scoring 52 runs, Temba Bavuma missed his half century by just one run (49). This pair took their team's total to 88, with a 57-run partnership for the second wicket, from 31 for 1.
