India, Myanmar yet to exploit full potential of trade and commerce : Myanmar Ambassador

Imphal, Feb 22 (UNI) Ambassador of Union of Myanmar to India Moe Kyan Aung today said there is a need to increase the air connectivity between the countries such as direct flight from Imphal to Yangoon and other places of Myanmar.
Free flow of trade, goods and services are the part of the most important elements in realizing as an economic community which would strengthen the commercial and economic relationship between various ASEAN countries, he added. He also maintained that NorthEast India is a geo-strategic region for connecting to the South East Asian countries.
He further said, though India and Myanmar share long border both countries have yet to exploit the full potential.
