India describes PoK polls as 'farce', says Pak will never succeed in its nefarious design in valley

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) Lambasting Pakistan for its interference in Kashmir, India today said the country would never succeed in its nefarious designs in the valley. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) here described the elections in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as a 'farcical exercise', and in obvious reference to the violence in PoK against the rigged polls, said the Pakistan Government was worried about people here, but their own people were not with them. 'It is a farcical exercise to cover illegal occupation,' MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in reply to a question on India's reaction to Pakistan's activities in the valley, at the weekly media briefing here. 'They can't succeed in their unholy designs. Their own people are not with them,' Mr Swarup added. The Spokesperson said he need not elaborate further as to how India was taking Pakistan's designs in Kashmir as External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had said it all in her statement last week.
