New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) The India blind cricket team on Thursday left the country to participate in the upcoming 5th World Cup cricket for Blind, slated to be held in Dubai from January 7.
The Indian team will be aiming to defend the title in the tournament, which will see participation from six nations, including Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Australia.
The 17-member team led by Ajay Kumar Reddy will take on Australia in their opening encounter of the tournament on January 8 at Ajman, UAE before clashing against Sri Lanka on January 10 and will later on lock horns against arch-rivals Pakistan on January 12.
