Dhaka, July 15 (UNI) India and Bangladesh held the sixth Home Minister-level talks on Sunday in which both the countries discussed different issues including security cooperation.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh lead their respective sides in the meeting held at the conference room in the Home Ministry here.
The ministers discussed issues related to security, border management, cooperation in countering illegal activities and travel arrangements at the meeting that began at 1030 hrs and continued for one-and-a-half hour.
Earlier on Friday, the visiting Home Minister said Bangladesh and India have made a 'notable progress' in transforming land and maritime boundaries into zones of peace and tranquility.
