Mount Maunganui, Jan 26 (UNI) After thrashing New Zealand by 90 runs in the second ODI on Saturday, Indian skipper Virat Kohli called Team India's performance as 'Balanced,' in every department of the game.
"The batting of our team was very balanced in today's match and we scored a good total of 324 runs. But it was not that you would feel comfortable looking at New Zealand's batting. Overall, it was a balanced performance," Kohli said after the match.
"I wanted to play aggressively after the breaks, I tried to work hard between 30-40 overs and wanted to take the score to 340-350. But after my dismissal, the new batsman came and obviously, it takes some time to settle down. We needed to make 15-20 runs more. This is something, we need to work before the World Cup and improve it," the Indian skipper added.
