Ambassa (Tripura), Mar 22 (UNI) Incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) from East Tripura Parliamentary Constituency Jitendra Choudhury has filed his nomination from the same constituency from CPI(M) to the returning officer in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
Mr Choudhury has filed nomination to the Returning Officer Vikash Singh. With him CPI(M) State Secretary Goutam Das, Dhalai district Secretary Pankaj Chakraborty and others have remained present. Before the submission of nomination a mammoth rally has roamed different parts of the town.
Before submitting the nomination, Mr Choudhury has remarked, "People are anguished and unhappy with the rule of BJP in last five years. And in the state, BJP government has ruined democracy in last one year. This time people will vote against all misrule and aristocracy. I am confident about my victory".
