Imran thanks Mahathir for supporting Pakistan on Kashmir

Islamabad, Aug 8 (UNI) Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday thanked former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad for speaking in support of the people of Kashmir and raising the issue of New Delhi's "injustices" in the disputed region.
"I want to thank Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad for speaking in support of Kashmiris and against "Indian repression", Khan said on Aug 8 to mark a year of Indian actions in Kashmir,".
Khan's statement followed after Mahathir tweeted defending his right to speak up against India's human rights violations in Kashmir, saying doing so would be to "stand up for humanity", Al Jazeera reported.
