Importance of Guru's contribution in disciple's life in present times

Dharamshala, Mar 28 (UNI) Preserving the tradition Guru Shishya Parampara and Sanskar in the era of modernity is no less than serving the nation. Suresh Kumar Jain, National Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Delhi said this today while speaking during seminar on “Guru Shishya Parampara and Sanskar which was organized under the joint aegis of Department of History and Bharat Vikas Parishad, Delhi at Sapt Sindhu campus of Himachal Pradesh Central University, Dehra.
Drawing the attention to the emerging challenges in the contemporary era, he appealed to the teachers and students to take positive initiative in this direction.
Pooja Awasthi Public Relations Officer CUHP told UNI that Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, was as the chief patron of this seminar and Prof. Pradeep Kumar (Dean Academics) was present as a special guest.
