Implement SIR effectively by creating awareness among citizens: Chandrakant Patil tells party workers

Kolhapur, Jul 11 (UNI) Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister and senior BJP leader Chandrakant Patil in an appeal said that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is very important for cleansing of the voters' list and that every citizen should fill out the form to include his or her name in the voter list.
Patil, who was speaking in a meeting of key leaders and party office bearers, said that the responsibility of BLOs and party office bearers is very important for inclusion of names in the voter list, exclude unnecessary names and ensure that the name of every eligible voter remains in the list.
He said that the government has given a deadline of July 30 to fill the form, after which an appeal process will have to be followed to include names.
