IGP Birdi directs to strengthen law enforcement effectiveness in Anantnag

Srinagar, Nov 12 (UNI) As part of on-going efforts to enhance police capabilities and operational preparedness, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Birdi on Tuesday visited District Anantnag to strengthen law enforcement effectiveness.
This visit underscores the commitment of J&K Police to enhancing operational readiness and tackling emerging challenges to ensure the safety and security of the community.
The IGP reviewed the district's security situation and discussed strategies to further strengthen law and order.

Shimla, Nov 6 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Congress today completes one full year without a formal organisation — a political irony that has left the grand old party looking like, in the words of one insider, “a soul without a body.”
Exactly a year ago, on this day, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge dissolved the party’s entire state structure — from the Pradesh Congress Committee to district and block units — with the promise that a new organisation would be announced “very soon.”
One year later, that promise remains unfulfilled.
