If drugs abuse not controlled, J&K will be next 'Udta Punjab': DGP

Jammu, Jan 22 (UNI) Expressing concern for drugs, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Dr SP Vaid today said that if drugs menace was not controlled, Jammu and Kashmir would soon become next 'Udta Punjab'.
"Tightening noose against drug peddlers and drug abuse in the state will be one of the top most priorities," newly appointed Police Chief Dr Vaid said while speaking at a felicitation function here.
He said, "it is not only the police, but every section of society, besides judiciary and medical need to contribute in fighting drugs menace."
